ParticipantI don’t always bill to the max. But, I do count driving time in the total bill.

MemberOn the form for services that you are able to provide. Did you all just check Clean spots (furniture) and Clean spots (mattresses)?

ParticipantGuardsman contact info will be in the April newsletter. I have been doing work for them for a little over a year now. They are great and I would encourage everyone to contact them. For the most part it’s easy money and they pay quickly.

ParticipantWhen I bill, I include my driving time. Which in a lot of cases will put me at the max time alloted.

ParticipantI ALWAYS bill them for the maximum allotted time. I have a minimum charge to cover plus there is sometimes a bit of drive time to get to the job.

ParticipantYou might want to stay away from mattress cleaning. We have tried 2 jobs and both have been trouble. The problem is wicking from inside the mattress. We have to go back to a much larger yellow spot than we cleaned the first time. It of course will not come out. We still clean for guardsman but no longer do mattresses.

ParticipantThanks Jamie…we only clean them to freshen them up after storage.
Great advice..

InactiveAfter cleaning AND disinfecting a mattress, spray a little coffee remover on it. Spray it evenly and not too heavy. It will really brighten up the cotton

InactiveHey DBag, Do you extract the coffee remover or leave it on there after the light spray?
