Does anyone do 60 days or 90 financing for their customers? I am considering doing it by EFT. Seeing that people aren’t as financially sound today as they were 2 years ago they might appreciate being able to cut up a payment over 60 or 90 days. I’d probably add a small fee to this of course, say 7%.

I do this for churches and charity organizations. Great rates and 0% for an agreed amount of time. I think it’s a slippery slope with residntial clients. I wouldn’t do it. But if I did I would get a credit card back up on this. If they don’t pay, you assess the card. If they are really dirtbags and want to screw ya, they’ll get it done no matter what the guarantee.

Your better off leaving that kind of loss for the credit card companies.

For my large commercial clients I do Simplified billing here are 2 examples
we clean the common areas (9554 sq ft) of the Hilton every Quarter and 10 hotel rooms every month we bill at 12 payments of $416.74 for a total yearly cost of $5000.88. On A senior facility we clean (hawthorn court) all common areas (20,047 sq ft) cleaned every other month there base bill is 501.75 a month And any units they have us clean that month is added to the bill at the end of the month.
this works very well for the maintenance facility’s budget. And it also levels out our income so we always have cash flow.
