I have gotten in the habit of using FAE on most of my jobs. I was kind of curious what amount of FAE other operaors mix.I add 1 scoop normally to say 1 1/2 gal warm water.Have used a little more at times but noticed a little browning on carpet at a apartment complex I do. Has anyone else noticed anything of this sort. Also it would be great to know a time line for FAE potency like mixed at 30 minutes it is at 90% effectiveness, and say 50% effectness at 45 minutes, or whatever. Inquiring minds would like to know. Thanks
i too use fae on almost all of my jobs. 2 ounces per gallon of hot water and never had a “brown out” occur. i spray it down pretty heavy too. as far as length of effectiveness thats hard to judge.
2 ounces is what I usually do as well. Just depends on how bad it is. I rarely use more than 4 ounces. As far as percent effective I would think you could answer that one by looking at the products on this site or the procedures manual. I could be wrong.

Has anyone experience a batch of FAE that seems to be a different formula? I had about 10 jars on hand and may have mixed up my product rotation but ran into a jar or two that, when mixed, created a yellowish color in the jug. During application, it made my lungs tickle to a point of coughing. I also noticed, after I wiped my lips with the back of my hand that had the FAE dust on it, my lips started to instantly sting bad enough that I ran to the customers sink to flush with water. I found that it works great but extra caution should be taken when using it.
I actually had a batch that seemd to be a lime greenish color. But I didn’t have any of the lung or lip symptoms. Hope all is well with ya.
