Since dry solvent has no water in it, it should be safe for the majority of fabrics out there. Check for color bleeding just to be safe. I have seen solvents remove color on denim furniture, but if memory serves me correct it was TGP that did it not dry solvent. There is furniture out there that has a glue backing on the fabric. If you unzip a cushion and look at the furniture backing (which should be done on every piece of furniture anyway) you can tell if it has this or not. That would be one piece to definitely use caution on with any solvent. Otherwise, just make sure you have fresh air if you are using a lot of it.

May also want to use caution on leather upholstery too. Most leather you will encounter is pigmented (painted). We all know what solvents do to paint.
