Do you guys use dry solvent very often? I find myself not having to use it very much. If so, what do u primarily use it for. I realize it is in the notebook but go ahead and reply anyways.
I used dry solvent on vasiline that was smeared all over a sofa. I also use it on industrial oil drips, grease, tar, cosmetics, shoe polish, cooking oil, butter, black marks under recliners, ect.
Works great, use it all the time.
We don’t use dry solvent often, but we do use it on “mystery” stains that customers say have reappeared when others cleaners cleaned. TGP does leave a residue. Any non-volatile solvent (TGP) should be either flushed with hot water or followed with a volatile solvent (Dry solvent) to remove residue.
I had a big job on sat. The mechanics office was realy bad, coverd w/ grease, dirt, I sprayed the carpet W/ Dry solvent buffed, then sprayed pro-spotter then buffed doing a small section at a time, cleaned up really nice. I used 2/3 of a bottle but it propably would have taken me at least 2-3 times as long with out it.
Make sure you have addiquate ventalation when doing this.
