I usually just go in and introduce my self give them a business card and the flyer corporate has for a “business you can trust”. I do get some immediate results but usually it takes quite a few stops not being pushy just “checking in seeing how things were going” kind of stops. I have also started saying we will also give free demos (to larger clients) followed by a quote. where I have been having great luck is with the sr. living places. I also pick out a few places that I want to support Like the VFW, American Legion, and boys and girls clubs. there are a lot of retired and current business owners at those clubs so that gets me into a new circle of friends not only commercial but residential as well. My goal is to set all commercial up on maintenance contracts. I want all my fixed overhead to be covered by regularly scheduled maintenance agreements. wish you great success!
