Has anyone done church pews, the long ones that go all across? Their is carpet on the seat and on, what you lean against also. Ideas of what I should charge. 48 pews
    Thanks Mark

There have been several previous postings that should be of some assistance which can be found by doing a search and entering pews or church. Most are in the misc area.

My personal opinion is think about how long it will take you and base a price on that number. Are the pews really dirty? Do they hide dirt? How often are you going to have to be filling jugs of solution? Once again, just my 2 cents.

I just did 24 pews that were 12 ft long, the backs were not padded. I charged $10 a pew. Took about 8 minutes per pew. Total bill was $240.
I was happy & the church was happy.

I have a church with back & seat padded pews, and I charge 1.50 per linear foot for cleaning and protector – everyone is happy! I clean these once a year.

I cleaned 64 pews (25 ft long) and all of the chairs for the choir for a church here in Plano, TX. I charged them $1 per linear foot.

They were happy with the results so I told them that I was going to estimate their carpet as well so that they could call me when they were ready to have it cleaned. While I was measuring, the pastor told me he wanted an estimate on another 130+ chairs. When I gave him those estimates, he asked me if I do residential cleaning and I cleaned his house 3 days later. I really like doing work for churches.

Hi Mark , how is my neighbor ? Personally I would charge something like $20 per pew with Fabric Protection . Most of the time if a church job is under $1000 thy don’t need board approval. Also normally they are easy to clean. Don’t forget to hit up the funeral homes they are good also.
