I wish I could have made the seminar and learned as much as all of you. That’s okay, I will bother all of you for the knowledge on all that you learned. Anyway, There is a company we just signed on with called Capital Cleaning Contrators. What they do is get calls from big corporate/commercial accounts and then call a Heaven’s Best in that area. Last week we cleaned the Naturalizer, next week we are cleaning Famous Footwear. You guys need to get on board with this company. They know about us from our Heaven’s Best franchisee in Alaska, and some of the ones in Idaho. That is what the rep told us anyways. So thank you Heaven’s Best Alaska and Idaho, we picked up two big jobs because of you guys. She mentioned that she needs 450 famous footwears done. There is probably one near you. They have different reps for different areas but I will give the info for my rep. Here you go:

1-800-379-2233She is a great Lady guys. Tell her Mike and Trisha in South Texas sent you. We get nothing from it. I think it’s a briallant idea. They need all 450 of these “famous footwears” done by April. So jump on it guys. Hope all is well.
God Bless,
Mike

Thanks, I called just a bit ago. I do expect that we will be able to work with this company. This is exactly what the power of leverage can do. We have it, and we have the reputation. We really need to capitalize off of this. In my opinion there is no excuse for most of our franchisees to be suffering. If we pool our business resources, I am confident that we will have enough jobs to do relatively well.
Unfortunately, I haven’t been getting much response on this from other franchisees. I don’t get it.

The insurance requirements for Capital Contractors require that you list them as an additional insured, which may cost you extra for your insurance policy. However, the potential gain is much more valuable. Don’t let that requirement stop you from partering with this organization.

February 9, 2007 at 4:31 pm #148790AnonymousInactiveJust curious, what are the costs/requirements for this program? Nev, you mentioned insurance requirements. What did that cost you to add them?
February 9, 2007 at 5:32 pm #148791Dan ChildParticipantnot sure yet, but there is no cost from capital cleaning. My insurance company will be contacting me regarding that. I am sure that each insurer handles this issue a little differently….
February 9, 2007 at 6:01 pm #148792Bulldog60ParticipantGuys,
The additional insured doesn’t/shouldn’t cost you anything. It’s just a form your insurance agent sends them, at least that is how it works here in Southern Calif
GaryFebruary 9, 2007 at 6:21 pm #148793FL18ParticipantIt cost us $125. It depends on your insurer. Some companys cost nothing. That is really the only requirement. Guys, it is worth it. This $125 has already paid for itself and then some. This is the jist of how it works:
1. Monica or a rep calls you
2. Monica says “i have Famous footwear for you clean”
3. Then she will tell you how much they are willing to pay.
4. you go check it out and accept the job or not.I know some of you will be leary on number 3 up there. These big corporate offices already have a number so you don’t get to qoute it yourself. I know that can be tricky but it’s very simple—-you look at the location, how bad it is, how big, etc
then you call Capital’s rep back and say I’ll take it or no I won’t. Then capital will find someone who will. Here is the great part though. YOU WILL BE CAPITAL”S FIRST CHOICE because they love Heaven’s Best. Monica understands if you won’t clean a huge store for next to nothing. We have close to a million here in south texas and no other Heaven’s Best so we get first choice on all the available stores. Any other questions, feel free to call me. Some of you already have.Mike and Trisha Nowlin

was the amount for Famous footwear the same for everywhere or do they adjust it by location?February 9, 2007 at 6:59 pm #148795Tn02ParticipantI just left her a message. Thanks, Mike, this sounds like a great opportunity.
February 9, 2007 at 7:41 pm #148796AnonymousInactiveHey Guys, I just did some cleaning for them inlate Dec. they do pretty
good at getting you paid but they only wanted to pay like 375 and i said NO I told her 480 and they said yes . So negociate alittle. the store was very happy so capital was happy. I have been telling them about us for a while.February 10, 2007 at 5:05 am #148797FL18ParticipantThe fee mentioned above is a one time $125 to add Capital to your insurance. They will only use you if you have atleast $1,000,000 coverage or General liability. Thanks Blairt for mentioning Heaven’s BEst to her. You are right. You can negotiate price. If not accepted then they just choose another cleaner. Like I said above though. If you can read what I am typing, then you must be an owner/operator of Heaven’s Best, so if you sign up, you will be capitals 1st choice.

Thank you for your valuable information. I have left a message and emailed Monica. I will make sure the operators in SC also have this info.
Some questions; Does Capital Cleaning take a cut or require a fee? How do they benefit from referring jobs to us or other contractors?
