Just wanted to know if any of you have heard of the company listed in the subject heading on this topic. They called and want us to clean 5 stores for them. 3 Lane Bryant stores and 2 Fashion Bug. They are a contracting service that is called on by corporate offices to service their locations. Similar to capitol cleaning contracters. Just wanted to know if any of you do work for them and if had any problems. I e-mailed the service rep (Teresa Kallembach) and asked if she used any of you wonderful HB owner/operators out there for the cleanings. She is going to call tomarrow or in a couple of days to give me the deadlines for cleaning these stores, if we accept the price they are offering. We have the address of each store and are going to look, measure and quote. They have not thrown any $ amounts at us just yet. Let me know something if you guys use them.

If you hear more information about this contractor, let me know. I’ve also been getting calls from Alert Retail Services. They take the responsiblitiy of the After Hours Formal Wear stores around Atlanta and I believe the country. They pay $300 without hesitations and if the price was to be more, then I would need to submit a bid within 48 hours from time of request to get an approval for the higher amount. Regardless, they will pay $300. It’s been easy cleaning. I’ve cleaned 3 stores in the last 2 months for them.Let me know what you find out and if I need to contact this new company, I would be willing to do it.
Thanks,

Very excited but taking things step by step. Contracting companies can be difficult to work for. We have been cleaning for another company called capitol cleaning contracters but has only given us 3 jobs in a year. Better than none I must say. Will let you know more as this proceeds forward. We have a conference call with them tomarrow.

how did your conference call go today with Bonham? i’m curious to hear the details.January 4, 2008 at 4:46 am #151168FL18ParticipantNot very well. We decided to not use them. As mentioned in previous reply on this post we looked at a store that was 5000 sq.ft. The offered us $250 for the whole thing. Guys, this was carpet and tile. Mostly carpet. We have had a slow aug, sep and nov of 2007, but I am not desperate to cut my self short. That would be right at 5 cents psf. That is not counting the tile of course. I was thinking more along the lines of $800 (low bid) to $1500 (high bid). They also insisted on us using steam cleaning. I took a deep breath, nearly blew the leather off my boots, and kindly said ” we must decline your offer at this time”. I really wanted to say kiss my a$$. What a waste of my time. Happy 2008 guys.
