ParticipantWhat is your preference for your work vehicle. We have an 99 Chevy Astro that is great, accept for door handles falling off. Other than that, we have enjoyed the ride.

InactiveI am using a Dodge caravan. I love it and still have enough room to keep my son’s carseat in so I can take him to and from daycare!

InactiveWhen I started out I had an Astro β02 that I used but I’ve since purchased the Chevy Express 2500 β05 and I like it over the Astro.
The Express is more comfortable and has much more room. Personally I would stay away from a Ford. The Sprinter has received much praise however the price tag scared me off. Chevy makes a great engine and itβll last you for a while.

ParticipantThis poll will run for only 3 or 4 more days so get your votes and replies in. I believe this helps operators to decide what type of vehicle they may use in the future.

InactiveI have heard that GM will no longer produce the Astro, in fact, 2005 is the last year. My info came from GM dealerships.

InactiveI have 2 Astro vans and have gotten great service out of them both. I like them for a lot of reasons. . . decent milage, easy to work out of, can reach everything in the van with my feet on the ground, comfortable and drives nice. One van has 175,000 miles and the other has 104,000

ParticipantHave Ford E-150 and am going to get the second one hopefully in a month or so for my son. No problems at all and like the space. Sprinter seems too expensive and I am 6’2″ and do not need to walk in the van… I am only in and out.
