I have been contacted by representatives form adzoo 4 times in the last week. They are a new company trying to sell the same old story. First placement on Google and all search engines with all the bells and whistles. I had a neighbor franchise meeting with one of the so called mentor reps. This was supposed to be the guy that new everything. I went to the meeting so that I could find out more about this company, and to help guide a new franchise in the crazy world of advertising. First off the meeting at his office was actually one of those co-op offices where it looks impressive with a receptionist and large board rooms. But I soon realized that it was a rent a desk in an office. The web site that they build for you is a horrible looking site. They don’t talk about the fact that you go in to rotation with all your competitors for that site. They kept claiming that they are a google partner, which does not mean much I am too. When I did my research they are a multi level marketing company. The more down line people they bring in the more they make. It only cost $295 to start up as a consultant, and they make 40% of the sales. That means there up line people make a commission also. At the end of the day the low cost they are telling you, won’t get much on the internet. We have seen these companies come and go over the years many times. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.

Don’t give this company a dime, or waste any time with this company. It is a multi level marketing company. Every representative has tried to recruit me. I am shocked that they would even ask after I let them know how flawed this company is. The sales rep makes 40% the rest goes to adzzoo. They do guarantee first placement on all these sites. What they don’t explain is that you may only show up a few times, and once your budget is gone (probably 1 click) you are gone. The landing page is horrible and leaves a lot to be desired. If you are looking for a web presence do it your self with Google Adwords. By the way they talk a great talk about how they get you on all of these other sites and AdWords does the same thing.
March 29, 2010 at 3:38 am #154321AnonymousGuestAgreed. I don’t even waste my time anymore with these types of companies. I manage my own Ad Words campaign with good success with an average position of 3rd and I have a marketing company out of Flordia that re-designed my website and does SEO for me each month. What really gets my goat is when these type of advertisers find my website and then complete my customer on line form with the same gobbledygook the use when the call. When I call them back they think I am calling to get “sold”, however, I professionally tell them my on line form is for my customers and NOT advertisers and I find their approach to offensive and unprofessional. Needless to say, they get the message.
