Just got 3 new dri-mesh shirts…..LOVE THEM !!!!!!!!!!
March 18, 2010 at 2:50 am #154303foobarMemberJust got my first one…red….havent worn it yet but I have a feeling I’m gonna like it. Not only to work in but to golf in….I’ve been wanting to get a shirt embroidered to wear to golf tournaments…promotional ones like with the chambers and such….but embroidery costs to much. These shirts are less than what it would cost to have one embroidered.
I like the shirts we already wear but hate it when your in a tight space and the gaps where the buttons on the shirt are get caught on the release button or the rubber handles on the buffer….that drives me crazy. Looking forward to wearing these. Pretty good looking shirts.April 5, 2010 at 6:26 pm #154304AnonymousInactiveLove the shirts as well, but wish they had a front pocket. I keep a scheduling pad in the front pocket of my other shirts and that keeps it handy. Just a thought.
April 6, 2010 at 12:28 am #154305foobarMemberI hear what youre saying, but I also keep lint that I pick up off of the carpets in that pocket too……..huh…I keep trying to put some in there but theres no pocket. Creature of habit. I also keep my checks in there along with the pen in the pen slot. Oh well ….win some and you lose some.

It’s a trade off I can live with. I continue to wear khaki slacks when I clean. It gives the appearance that this old guy still looks professional.

June 1, 2010 at 7:13 pm #154308IN01ParticipantAs much as they may have air-flow going for them, I just don’t think they look as professional. Jeremy & I both fought the idea of a button-down shirt, but we’ve loved how well made they are as well as how professional they look.
But I’m sure during the summer months the breathabilty is a huge plus!
June 17, 2010 at 6:57 pm #154309AnonymousInactiveWhat are the thoughts on these, for those that have them, after having them a few months? How are they holding up? Do they still look good? I am torn on getting these. My employee’s want them for obvious reasons, but I don’t think they look very professional in the picture (may just be the picture not doing it justice though since it’s untucked, and with jeans). I have always worn blue shirts and khaki’s since we started our area (dark blue golf shirt w/ old logo, light blue button down with new logo). I want to keep it blue since that is what our customers associate us with. I agree with all comments that the button down looks very professional (which besides clean carpet is my other top priority), and the front pocket very functional (either trash can or storage). I do hate things like buffer handle getting caught in gaps between buttons though. Any more thoughts from those that have made change, or why others aren’t making the change?
June 17, 2010 at 7:04 pm #154310AnonymousInactiveOn a side note, I have considered buying limited numbers of these and using them on the busy 90+ degree days only, which aren’t too frequent in my area outside July and August.
June 19, 2010 at 3:28 am #154311AnonymousInactiveGot my first batch in this week. Look great.
I think with any shirt, these or the others, the look is more professional with a crisp white undershirt. Use a wicking type or a cotton blend when the temps get high.
I won’t hesitate to use these at work, with a nice pair of tan Dockers, a crisp white undershirt and of course all tucked in. Kind of says, Hey, I’m working but I can still look great and feel good at the same timeJune 25, 2010 at 2:22 am #154312foobarMemberYou mean not the bacon collar?
July 6, 2010 at 3:19 pm #154313AnonymousInactiveI bought 2 of these shirts. Although I don’t think they look as professional as the button down, they do look good. That said, as of this time, I don’t think I will ever buy these again for use as a WORK shirt. As others said, they pick too easy (I prefer the words run or snag). The two shirts I have have been worn roughly 2-3 times each for work and each one has at least 3 large visible runs/snags. I think these shirts are better suited for wear to help you promote your business in comfort (any outdoor activites like fairs, parades, golf courses, etc.). As a work shirt, these do not cut the mustard in the durability category. Would love to see a more durable brand of shirt used if one exists. I wouldn’t buy the current brand available for use during an actual workday. Others may disagree. Just my 2 cents….
