I am the 1 and only low-moisture cleaner in our area. I am putting some thought into an ad campaign proving why we are the “Greenest” carpet cleaning system out there. I would like to know about how many gallons of water per square foot a steam cleaner uses. Can anyone help?

Gallons per s/ft ?? That would certainly be the Fly By Night soakers.
In my area, the average 3 bedroom house has 800 s/ft of carpet.
A mid grade steam cleaner will use at least 40 gallons of water to clean that house.

    Hope this helps.
