Since you are all selling local services, anyone interested in marketing there website should spend some time getting listed on local search services. Below is an excellent read with links to a way to list yourself on many different local search pages, many of them free.

It also has a fair amount of information on online yellow pages. You may also think about inserting an ad on Craig’s list every couple of weeks in the applicable categories. It seems tacky, but a well designed ad on Craig’s list has brought the leads. Hope this is helpful to some of you that are trying to tame the wild web and get some good ROI going.
Just to give you an idea of what a listing on several of these sites can do:
(Note that these ranks are by comparing a particular site to the traffic of ALL other internet websites.)
Yelp.com is ranked 684
Yellowpages.com is ranked 732
insiderpages.com is ranked 3,847
Yellowbook.com is ranked 4,551Suffice it to say, most of these pages are in the top 100,000 pages online. Its a great way to get exposure. Heavens Best is just under the top million web pages but climbing, just think of how many leads our site alone generates.
And last but not least, I’m not providing an official endorsement for any of these websites as I have not done business or worked with all of them. Excercise the usual caution if you sign up for a pay service from one of the sites that offers it.
