Thanks to my good neighbors!

I wanted to thank my neighbor operators in Bend, OR (Howard and Trudy James) and Salem, OR (Josh Kohler) for doing a great service for Starlight Building Maintenance, the company that services all Fred Meyer (KROGER) stores in our area. Because of Howard and Trudy’s good work and their professionalism on the FM stores in their area, Starlight called Josh Kohler in Salem when carpet cleaning was needed there. Josh was able to service the store immediately. Because of these guys, Starlight called me to clean a store in the Portland area. These jobs bill in the ballpark of 4K! It’s a nice peice of business.

This is an example of how our good works can affect other operators in their cleaning business. Let us also remember the opposite can be true as well. If we screw up, it reflects poorly on other operators. I’ve been fortunate enough to benefit from other operators good works, not only in this case, but also from residential clients moving to Portland from other areas. It’s not often, but I’ve also had the misfortune of hearing about bad experiences with Heaven’s best elsewhere. I can’t earn these people’s business now.

Moral of the story, do good work and we all benefit. Thanks again for all your good work. It helps my bottom line!
