I have done two jobs only. I used the same steel wool pad for both. They were about 600 sq. ft. and 1200 sq ft. No problems. The white pad is still doing well also.
JamieI’ve found that a steele wool pads will do a job or two depending on the size. The polishing pads last longer – as long as you make sure the wax has hardened before polishing. You’ll know when the polishing pad is done for by the way it starts to leave an uneven look.
On a small job i would use one side of the pad and large jobs i would use both sides of pad
