ftp access, when I try to use the ad templates all I get is this program cannot display the web page. Yes I log in as hbuser flyer.
The ftp site requires certain software to be able to access the ads. If you do not have the software you will not be able to see the ads, however your advertiser should be able to access it. All of the ads on the ftp site are shown in a user friendly format on our Heaven’s Best web site under the blue button “Operator Advertising”. This is designed so you can view the ad on our site then send your advertiser to the ftp site. All the ads are numbered the same on our website and the ftp site under the proper catagory. We also have some tutorials on our web site that will help you or your advertiser understand the ftp site.

1. Open my computer (may be found on your desktop as a shortcut called my computer or under start > my computer)
2. Click in the address bar where it currently says “My Computer”
3. Clear the words “My Computer from the address bar
4. key in: ftp://69.20.128.29/
5. Login as:
user: hbuser
password: flyer
6. You will likely be prompted for a username and password for each folder that you open depending on your Windows XP settings, put in the same information, hbuser and flyer
7. When you find the file you would like to download:
right click the file
left click the word copy
right click on your desktop
left click paste
8. After following this process, you should have the file you need
9. It is not recommended that you attempt to preview or open the files directly from the FTP site, always download them first.
10. After you have downloaded a file, if it asks what you want to view it with and you do not have adobe illustrator, choose adobe reader.As Cody mentioned to actually be able to open and edit these ads properly it does require special software. Most of the large scale advertisers should have this software if they are serious about it.
The process described above should work on just about anything but a Mac. Also, if you would like to preview the images before you download them, do it via the operators only section as these images are much smaller and are in a format compatible for your web browser.
