Good morning to everyone. I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Matt Dooley and I have entered into an agreement with Caroline Lowe to purchase the Heaven’s Best franchise rights for the San Antonio market. I know Randy was a friend to many of you and while I knew him only briefly, I am happy to say that we had become friends as well. My family and I were touched by his recent and unexpected passing and like all of you, wish Caroline and family well.
I have had the pleasure to work with Cody through the negotiations and his support of both the Lowe family and myself have been nothing short of terrific. Our deal will finalize on Septemebr 25 and, along with my brother Mike, I will be in action very shortly thereafter.
My family (wife Kristie, sons Sean (10), Evan (6) and Jonathon (7 weeks)) are currently residing in Chicago. We will be moving down to San Antonio, our home city, in the next month. We are very excited. My background is in retail management, where I have worked for Foot Locker Inc, General Nutrition Centers, Hollywood Video and most recently, Ultimate Electronics.
My brother and I took great pleasure in attending training last week, so we are excited and ready to go. Of course, as in any new endeavor, we “don’t know what you don’t know”, so we will be eager to learn and hope to be able to rely on this forum to address many of our questions. This organization seems to be founded on some strong ideals, one of which is teamwork. I like that concept a great deal.
We look forward to meeting many of you soon, especially our compatriots in Texas.

****Canadian Joke****
An American, a Scot and a Canuk were in a terrible car accident. They were all brought to the same emergency room, but all three of them died before they arrived. Just as they were about to put the toe tag on the American, he stirred and opened his eyes. Astonished, the doctors and nurses present asked him what happened.
“Well,” said the American, “I remember the crash, and then there was a beautiful light, and then the Canadian and the Scot and I were standing at the gates of heaven. St. Peter approached us and said that we were all too young to die, and that for a donation of $100, we could return to the earth.”
He continued, ” So of course, I pulled out my wallet and gave him the $100, and the next thing I knew I was back here.”
“That’s amazing!” said one of the doctors, “But what happened to the other two?”
“Last I saw them,” replied the American, “the Scot was haggling over the price and the Canadian was waiting for the government to pay for his.”
and eventually, they did.
