Tyler, when the program figures late fees, it adds the 25.00 fee evry month. with tax. it should just be a one time late fee and interest of 1.5%.Also. it is showing late fees on some customers who have been closed out. ???????? maybe i don’t have it set right?
It is on the invoice books in bottom right hand corner that states ” $25 per month late fee” and so on. Most companies won’t pay the late fees anyways.

i noticed that after i wrote this. the old books just said one $25.00 late feeand 1 1/2% per month. the problem i have is i called a collection agency about a past due bill and they told me it was illegal for them to collect late fees but not interest. So i need to be able to figure just the interest before i submit it to them.

I had a customer that just couldn’t seem to write a check for my services. After 6 months of statements and phone calls, finally I had to go to small claims court. I recieved judgement for all the late fees, all the intrest, all the associated costs with the proicess. His bill was 2 1/2 times what it was originally. I don’t mess with collection agencys.
