Anyone use the metal type spray canisters? I have only used the plastic pump style since that what was being sold when I joined. Just wanted to know everyone’s opinion on the pros and cons of the metal type. I see that they are $74 vs. $15 for the plastic type.

    Thanks

I use the metal sprayer. The plastic sprayer uses more product. I will save the plastic one for emergencies.

I’ve been very happy w/my metal sprayer! I think heavy duty is always a good idea! ha

I have used both. The plastic one seems to start leaking and loosing presure after about 2 or 3 weeks and it uses more product. The metal ones are by far beter to use. Get a 12v compressor and you will save a lot of time. I keep a few extra tips in my spotter tray just in case and I keep a new plastic sprayer in the van to have as a spare.

Thanks for the input everyone. I also have noticed that the plastic one does tend to start leaking both product and air after a very short usage period…

I got a battery jump start, with an air compressor, to pump my sprayer up 50$ at shucks works awsome, and when you see some one in need at the walmart it is real handy. you can plug it in at the shop or in your 12 volt source in the van. holds its charge quite a while.
