I had an existing customer ask if I could help her with a pet problen on a 100 year old heirloom hooked rug. I had cleaned the rug before but this time the particular urine spot smelled terrible. First I flooded the area with fresh scent, let dwell 1 hr. I then flushed with 101 and orange deodorizer., I then hung and forced air dried. Smelled great right after the cleaning until it started to dry then my six year old son comes out of the house, passes by the rug hanging in the garage and says “something smells sour in here” Sure enough the smell is still there although slightly better. I don’t know if I want to apply enzyme because of the PH and this rug is a bleeder. Any comments or thoughts from similar cases?
    Thanks

Sorry I can’t be of any help, but I am interested in what comes of this problem.

Add some orange deodorizer to the pet enzyme. This will lower the PH level and you should be good to go.
