I sure that most of you have been contacted by companies that provide you with a list of addresses so you can mail out a flyer or whatever to them. I’m wondering if anybody does this? What kinda of results you get? I know that this info is available at the court houses, but I don’t see myself going the the court house and getting that info. I would rather spend the time doing something a little more productive. Comments please. Thanks

Several years ago, I began offering Real Estate agents “Special Pricing” to clean their clients homes. Its been five years now, and I hold claim to 60% of the agents in this town. (pop. 175,000)My “special price list” – simply put – is one room free.
Now for every customer that moves away, I am replacing them with at least 2 others.June 28, 2006 at 1:43 am #146185HBplantcityflaParticipantHey Rick, what all did you do to “get hold” of the Real Estate agents. I have been trying to get them for a while now. Maybe my approach is a bit flawed. I have tried 2 things. With one office I went to a sales meeting and gave a 10 minute presentation. I gave away 3 bottles of spotter, and 3 gift certificates of 20 dollars each. I also told the office that I would offer them 10% of any job they refer me to as cleaning money for themselves. No bites on that one. Then I offered a similar thing only in letter form to another Real Estate office. Still no bites. I like working with the real estate agents (2) from BNI, and one I found on my own, but to get 60%! What is your secret?

For instance, I work with a company in Portland called Metro Presort and I can buy lists for 5 cents per name with criteria that determines their home value, income and zip code. For a few pennies or so more you can add even more specific criteria. Look into Pre-sort companies. It will be worth your time.

They wanted me to advertise my most competitive rate becuse the house “would be empty”. Welcome wagon delivers the info two to six weeks after they move in. The trial ended and so did I with them. You really have to think things through. I wonder where some salesman learned there trait … Before, during, or after prison.
