I also updated the spotlight archive.

It now has the alphabetical pictures instead of a plain list.

    Sorry,

I got a little confused in my old age. I had heard or read something like that before.

I guess Einstein paraphrased Socrates “I know nothing except the fact of my ignorance” written in Diogenes Laertius. (Some 2500 years before Einstein)

Unfortunately I was saddled with leaning Latin and a lot of Greek in HS. A little of it stuck…very little.

I would have sworn it was Aristotle though…

    Tyler,

I also found this from Socrates’ pen…much too arrogant for Einstein to have uttered.

“And in knowing you know nothing, makes you the smartest of all.”

Unbelievable that Socrates penned that more than 2,500 years before Einstein gave is quote. I wonder if Einstein read Socrates?

    Nice insight.

It sounds very similar, and may have influenced einstein in his quote.
