My wife and I are considering doing tile and grout cleaning, wood floor cleaning. How many of you guys do this? Is it worth the time and investment?

Mike, I got into tile and grout cleaning about a year ago, not because I wanted to, because my existing customers were requesting the service. I’ve had no regret thus far. In fact, I just booked a natural stone and grout cleaning/sealing job today after cleaning a “new” customers carpet. I estimate the time to clean and seal will take approximately 3 hours, 500 sq. ft. total. Clean one day and return the next to seal. The price, $500.00. And, I’m giving her a great price at that! The down side, it really takes two people for this type of cleaning, one to scrub, one to rinse, etc… all in all, it a good service to add to your business. Hope this helps.

    Steve,

Are you using the HB t&g machine?

We have noticed that we have turned away 12 tile and grout cleanings over the past 4 weeks. 8 of them were from past carpet customers.

With this said, how many of you are cleaning tile & grout the manual way?

We use the Nobles and the scrubber attachment. Seems to work fine and use the Ninja and squeegee to clean up the hard surface cleaner. Work great and also wors great on linoleum…linoleum really looks awesome next to the mop & bucket job.

Hey guy’s and girls I am new to the tile and grout cleaning so not sure how to price I just measured a LARGE LARGE area at a local dealership(all open) it is 9707 square ft of tile in very good shape. I feel that I should give some sort of deal on such a big area. Any suggestions?
